Linda has been an active yoga practitioner for over 12 years. She holds both an ERYT-200 and RYT-500 Certification, and has extensive training and experience in many modalities of yoga and mobility.
Linda has mentored under world-renowned instructors including: Gary Kraftsow, American ViniYoga Institute; Tom Myers, Anatomy Trains in Structure and Function; Leslie Kaminoff, Yoga Anatomy; Biff Mithoefer, Yin Yoga; Dr. Sarkar, Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy; Cindy Black, Meridian Massage; and Donna Eden, Energy Medicine/Meridian Yoga.
Linda is also the Director and Lead Instructor for Zenya Yoga Academy, where she teaches certification courses for both RYT-200 and RYT-500 students. She is continually expanding her education and loves learning, teaching, and sharing.
Linda loves the many ways that yoga has improved her own life including feeling: vibrant, healthy, balanced, flexible, compassionate, self-acceptance, and so much more. She’s also personally experiences many great benefits from her regular yoga practice including diminished aches and pains, the ease of relaxation, improved sleep, a stronger & healthier body, and immense inner peace. Linda strives to lead others to those same experiences.
Linda works full time at William & Mary and teaches Yoga for Wellness, Vinyasa I and II, Gentle Flow, Hatha, Yoga Fundamentals, Power Yoga, Yoga for Myofascial Release, and Yoga for Mobility throughout the community and in one-on-one sessions.

1. What’s something I would never guess about you?
“To expand my knowledge on fascia and its effect on our flexibility, I traveled to the Laboratories of Anatomical Enlightenment (LAE) in Boulder, Colorado. Seeing the elegance, beauty, intricate function, and structure of the human body from a textbook is nothing like the life changing experience of touching, feeling, tracing, dissecting and learning from a human cadaver.”
2. Would you rather go 30 days without your phone or your entire life without dessert?
“Neither. Since it says “your” phone I would surrender “my” phone then borrow a friend’s phone and have both. 😊 ”
3. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
“Chickpeas since I could grow them, and they are a rich source of vitamins, minerals, and fiber and are considered both a vegetable and a protein. Roasted they are crispy and smooshed they are hummus and they help me feel full.”
4. How much would someone have to pay you to eat a live spider?
“I would have to switch it up on them and get them to PAY ME TO WATCH THEM EAT IT!”
5. If you joined the circus, what would your circus act be?
“A Trapeze Artist flying through the air with the greatest of ease being graceful, flexible and strong.”
