FREE CHILDCARE

Yes we have childcare! It is a complimentary service for all members and guests. Children of all ages welcome including infants. The gated childcare area is open and visible by you throughout your class. It has a TV for Netflix movies, lots of toys, a chalk board wall for beautiful kids graffiti, and is supervised by a loving provider.

 

MOBILITY YOGA

Mobility Yoga is an all-levels class specifically designed to stretch, restore, and mobilize muscles, ligaments and joints in order to increase athletic performance in CrossFit.

Each session focuses on opening and mobilizing areas that are regularly used in a CrossFit routine, such as: shoulders, hips, ankles, the t-spine, wrists, hamstrings and more.

This class is taught in the Vinyasa style of yoga, linking poses fluidly with breath and music to keep you engaged.

GYMNASTICS SKILLS & DRILLS

  • Focuses on skills and drills to improve overall body strength using bodyweight movements such as core and hollow body work, pushups, handstand work, pull-up and muscle-up progressions, dips, parallette work, toes to bar, and much more.
  • Big concentration on core strength which in turn improves strength in everything that we do including weight lifting and metabolic conditioning exercise
  • The goal is to perfect strict movements first and then build to more dynamic kipping movements for increased speed and efficiency
  • Classes are one hour and begin with a warm up, followed by skills & drills, and conclude with a short workout or strength piece, not for time, but designed to reinforce skills learned in class and improve overall strength
  • Dynamic team setting that allows for partner strength work and keeps classes fun and motivating
 

BARBELL CLUB

Sharpen your axe with Barbell skills & drills! This class is for athletes of all levels and will focus on optimizing technique and efficiency with barbell movements through skills, drills and building supporting strength through key accessory exercises that are not commonly found in regular daily WODs.

The class will end with the regular daily WOD and is programmed to complement the weekly programming at CrossFit Stimulus.

FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT TECHNIQUES (FMT)

Movement is key to all healing.

HIGH SCHOOL STRENGTH

The High School Strength and Conditioning program at CrossFit Stimulus is an 8-week progressive athlete development program designed for teens ages 12-18.

It was developed with the high school level athlete in mind, to give them a leg up on the competition and prepare them for high school and college level athletic programs.

Classes are 60 minutes in length and consist of a 20-40 minute strength program followed by a 10-30 minute higher intensity conditioning workout. Athletes will see improvements in strength, stamina, endurance, mental toughness, speed, explosiveness, and a higher self-esteem.

Most importantly, athletes will learn proper technique and safety for major lifts and movements that are scarcely taught in high school or college weight rooms.

We pride ourselves in teaching safe movement and require our athletes to show proper technique before adding intensity or weight.

 

TAE KWON DO- KIDS AGES 5 AND UP

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean form of Martial Arts that teaches unarmed self-defense. Translated Do (the art) Tae (of kicking) Kwon (and punching) has become a very popular sport and was made an Olympic sport in 2000 at the Sydney Games!

Tae Kwon Do helps a practitioner improve flexibility, coordination, and agility. Highly recommended for children 5 and up, it helps them develop motor skills as well as teach discipline, respect, and confidence. With kids, a strong focus is put on bully awareness, management and prevention!

 

KILO CRUSHFEST- ANNUAL COMPETITION

KILO Crush Every year we host a One Day, 2-Person Team Competition with 200 competitors and 300+ spectators & volunteers.

Athletes from near and far come together and put it all on the line in front of hundreds of spectators for a chance to be Crowned the KILO CrushFest Champions.
